If someone were
to walk to the archery range, located behind the fields of Anderson Hall,
they probably wouldn't expect to see this man teaching archery. |
Its a very good
thing they would assume this, because a reasonable person would not expect a
fictional character and or movie star to teach this skill at a rural summer
camp. But our archery instructors, usually consisting of Sandy,
Lincoln, and Mike T. could ward off evil creatures as well as Legolas of
Lord of the Rings. |

Paper coverings
of polyester-stuffed targets are soon ripped to shreds by the violently fast
traveling arrows (whose tips are not razor sharp, but, for safety reasons,
metal stumps which do a fantastic job of puncturing through the targets). |
Each camper gets his or her turn
at the target, each given 5 arrows. |

And after their
shots, they retrieve their own arrows, and hand them off to the next hopeful
archer looking for a bulls-eye.
