As Freshman and
Sophomore bunk groups finished their dinner, and prepared to go to an
evening of clubs, they were stopped by Andy and Melissa. The head
counselors announced that instead of clubs, each bunk group would go back to
their dorms and create a unique banner reflecting their bunk group, its
members' interests, and anything else they would like to add.
Each group went
back to their dorm, and began brainstorming ideas. Those who were
artistically gifted took charge in the design of the banner.
Those who were
not chose to contribute in their own way-a form of moral support.
Groups gathered
in the area between Anderson and Washabaugh Halls to present their banners.
The competition
to go first was fierce, and the only way it could be solved was a Campus
Kids-style Ro-Sham-Bo game.
Groups waited
patiently, while other groups presented, to show their own masterpiece.
