**WARNING** Images seen in this photo journal may lead you to believe that electronic equipment was brought into the swimming pool, causing a hazard.  This is not the case.  With great thanks to Rachel Parker and her waterproof digital camera, these photographs were able to be taken.

For the night's evening activity, Junior groups were told to design and build a boat to be raced.
And, using items from the dorm and a whole lot of duct tape, they showed up with their nautical contraptions.

Just in case of a capsize, Ally was on duty lifeguarding.

And my landlocked counterpart stood on the edge taking pictures.
   
And with a few words said, the race was on.
   

It was a close race, one where the two remaining teams with functional boats had to race again for a tie breaker, but in the end, Pippi's Long stockings won it.
Now, reader, you are in for a treat.  This trophy has not even been presented to the winning team yet--it will be at announcements tomorrow.
