Here at Campus
Kids the camper choice system is organized in the following manner: on the
y-axis of a grid are the campers' names, and on the x-axis, the activities.
Most periods get a range of activities chosen, as you can see from the left
hand side of the photograph. But in an unprecedented event, 64 of the
74 Super Seniors, 86%, chose extreme duck-duck-goose. |

Like
Rob-Lou-Jen, extreme duck-duck-goose is a Campus Kids NJ original.
Created by Adam A., Danny S., and Counselor Alex R., this game is loosely
based on the childhood game of duck-duck-goose. |
|
|
Before the games
began, the creators explained the rules and demonstrated how to play.
Like in the actual game, everyone sits in a circle.
|
One person walks
around the circle tapping people on the head saying the word 'duck'. |
|
|
When someone is
tapped goose, the extreme aspect of the game begins. |
A ball, either a
rubber ball or dodge ball, is placed in the center of the circle, sometimes
on the ground, sometimes held by someone. |
|
|
The person dubbed
'Goose' must pick up the ball and try to hit the person with it before he or
she returns to their seat. |
If they hit them,
the person hit is out. If they miss, the thrower is out. |
|
|
If the ball is
caught, the thrower is out. |
Once people are
out, they can do little but watch as the mayhem of pelting balls goes on. |

Last man or woman standing wins. |
