Many smirked at the thought.  "Golf?!" they exclaimed.  "What a bore!".  Although their actual language might have been slightly less poetic, that message was conveyed.  It appeared on the schedule a few times, and people began signing up to test their own golf skills.  Then, at Thursday's announcements, James and Dave took the microphone and announced that all those who had been perfecting their golf game over the past week would, on Friday, be taken to a real driving range, not Anderson Fields, for a golf challenge.

And they made good on their promise.  18 campers loaded a small yellow bus bound for Farmview driving range.

In this beautiful driving range, with tees enough for everyone to hit, the challenge began.

And the multiple large buckets of golf balls rented by the camp provided an excellent chance for everyone to take practice, and then get down to business.

The Competition
began
to narrow.

Soon, there were four people left: Counselors James and Dave and Campers Mitch and Matt.
In the end, Matt won the camper challenge and James won the counselor.

And Kevin L. somehow fell onto himself in the middle of a swing.
