Today Campus Kids experienced the
first thunder storm of the summer! The clouds did not disappoint at all.
There was a lot of thunder and... |
|
|
Lightning! Taking shelter from
the real lightning outside, some campers played an intense game called
"lightning." The teams line up facing each other and hold hands. |
|
Both teams shut their eyes as per
the rules and put their game faces on.
|
|
The first player
in each line keeps their eyes open and watches for the toss. If the toss is
heads, then they squeeze their partners hand. This starts a chain all the
way down to the end where the last team mate reaches down to grab the point!
Neither team was willing to except defeat. |
|
|
Both teams proved
they had better than lightning fast reflexes, keeping the score close until
the very end! |

The summer rain
might have kept everyone inside for a little while, but it didn't stop us
from having a great time! |
