As some readers may or may not
know, Blair Academy boosts a beautiful nine hole golf course. The course is
demanding, highly technical, and the host of the first PGA Blair. |
Mickelson, Nicklaus, and Woods...
Well not quite. Our participants Matt, Josh, and Mike lined up and took a
few practice shots. |
Posing for a group shot. |
The course
started out with a very challenging first hole. |
FORE! |
Josh had to duck
under a tree to make a tricky shot. |
A beautiful view from the second
hole. |
The drive off the green was
spectacular. |
Matt sized up the green, Tiger
Woods style. |
The third hole, par 4. |
Any experienced
golfer knows you must check the wind before you tee off. |
The fourth hole
was a bit rough, but no match for the likes of Mike R, Josh, and Matt. They
were really giving the counselors a run for their money. |
What a shot! |
The participants
made it look easy on the fifth hole. |
Counselor Dave M.
showed off some effortless putting. Too bad he was just wide of the hole! |
Counselor Jimmy
C. tried to channel his inner Nicklaus and sink the shot, but still the
campers could not be beat. |
The campers were
doing so well that they showed the counselors some mercy and only played 6
holes. |
After a long day
of golf, the PGA Blair came to a close and everyone walked back for
announcements and lunch. Next stop Baltusrol! |
