While Wednesday at Campus Kids was the amazing Rock of July festival, Friday was host to Rocket of July! Campers turned rocket scientists came out to the bowl to launch their rockets into the sky.

The first thing to do is take the rocket to the launch pad, and attach the ignition clips.

Over at mission control, the launch pad was armed, and everyone waited in high anticipation for the launch.

The area was cleared and the countdown started... T-minus 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

LIFTOFF!

All the rockets shot off the launch pad and hurtled through the sky!

High up in the air, the nose cone popped off and the rocket fell back to the Earth.

All the CK rocket scientists were able to recover their rockets and bring them back to mission control. Great job everyone!
