"Announcements, Announcements, Announcements, A terrible death to die, A terrible death to die, A terrible death to be talked to death, A terrible death to die, Announcements, Announcements, Announcements, And here's Tom! TOM TAH TOM TAH TOMMMM!"		This is the announcements song in all of it's glory. Before we get into detail about this awesome song and time of day, let's back track a little.
	This year the announcements spot has been switching because of CK's magic theme. Today's mystery location: in the shade because temperatures in Blairstown soared to near 100 degrees today.
As campers arrived, they were delighted to be sitting in the shade.
	Everything was in place for announcements to begin, the sound system was set up, and the packages and mail arrived. But...
The staff assistants decided to enlighten us with their pre-announcements fashion show of lost & found items!!
Finally, announcements was ready to get underway.	Each day, different people get to lead the announcements song. Today we had three special guests on campus. Dave H, Dave M, and James, former staff members had the honors of leading the song today.
Some would have thought they would have forgotten the lyrics, but they didn't!		Soon enough, the song was over, signaling that people can start their announcements.
Leadership staff Steph, Jase, and Donald wanted to let camp know about the to-be-continued basketball finals, the Olympics, and Rock of July sign ups.
	While Olympics was the subject, counselors Erica, Sam, and Rachel talked about choreographing a dance for the closing ceremonies on Thursday.
The junior girls made an announcements about the awesome duct tape wallets they made!
		Teri let us know about tonight's evening activities.
Campers Matt and Dan informed the camp about a ninja tournament. Ninja is a new game introduced at CK this summer; dealing with having great reflexes, and possessing high pitched ninja voices.
	Counselors Lauren, Rachel P, Alexa L, Emma, and Kim decided to inspire us to drink more water in the form of song.
	Counselors Thomas and Adele made an announcement about CK Glee, another new activity at camp.
		Stu made an announcement about bunk group pictures.
And Staff Assistant Lauren M. read the package list.
	And last but not least, Jeremy made an announcement about what age group got ice cream privileges at lunch.
Announcements finally ended. Astonishingly, it only lasted about fifteen minutes!
