Michael Phelps, Sean Johnson, Apolo Ohno, and Nastia Liukin. All have
secured their place in American history through outstanding Olympic
achievement. The Seniors of Campus Kids had a chance to do the same as
they participated in the brand new Olympic evening activity. Each bunk
group would have to use teamwork in order to complete a variety of tasks
testing their minds and bodies. To begin the night, Rose and Dave
explained a few simple rules and the first event was ready to go. |

A mental challenge awaited, as each bunk group had to finish a "Word
Find" and race to hand it in. |
Next, each group formed a circle and needed to pass a hula hoop around
the group ten times without letting go of each others hands. |
After a demonstration on proper "Leap
Frog" technique by staff assistant Russ, each team raced across the gym
floor and back by jumping over one another! |
The campers then participated
in a Trust Sit testing their coordination, dependability, and balance! |
Although getting into the position is rather simple, the only way out
is to fall down! |
The final event of the night was entitled "Magic Carpet". Each team
needed to remain on a sheet while attempting to flip it over only using
their feet! |

Although many groups aimed to
win, all realized that this was not the most important aspect of this
evening activity. The Campus Kids Olympics strengthened group unity and
were tons of fun! |
