The Blair Academy Theater was
set once again for another fun evening activity. |
Tonight's activity would be Deal
or No Deal, based off the popular TV game show of the same name. |
Cases were randomly selected to
be inserted by prizes. |
In the real show, each case
usually has a person assigned to open it. At Campus Kids, one person is
used to open all the cases. Sara was the lucky person to open the cases
tonight. |
The notorious Ryan Belline
served as the banker. |
Each group would take turns to
try to win one of the following prizes. |
Some prizes seemed appealing... |
Some prizes seemed
non-sentimental... |
While others made groups cringe
inside. (Belline's choice of very bad things, a prize that this reporter
had to suffer from when he was a camper.) |
One prize could have even made
this reporter's life a little easier! |
Each group would sit in their respective
seats. They would first pick a case that they would keep as their own.
Then, they would pick other cases to see if they would get a good deal
for their case, based off their performance. |
As each case was revealed,
groups acted with excitement when bad prizes were removed... |
and with sorrow when great
prizes were removed. |
After a set number of cases were
removed, Banker Belline would make an offer to the group. |
Deal |
or |
No Deal? |
Surprisingly, two of the four bunk groups
eventually won pizza parties! (One group's strategy was to pick the
cases in order, with the exception of 6 and 12. They ended up winning
the pizza party.) |
Their reactions were priceless. |
