WHICH CAMPUS KIDS CAMP
SHOULD I APPLY TO?
Campus Kids-Minisink (NY)?
Campus Kids-Connecticut?
Campus Kids-New Jersey?

It's your choice!  You can indicate your preference on the application form.  If you have no preference, we'll suggest which of our three camps might be best for your skills and interests.

All three of our camps have the same philosophy and home-on-the-weekends schedule.  All three also give campers individual, daily choice of their activities.  All three offer the same "core activities" of team and individual sports, fine arts, performing arts, swimming, hiking and day trips, evening activities and theme days.  They are all in beautiful rural settings, yet are less than two hours from New York City.  All three camps are accredited by the American Camp Association.  Campus Kids is non-sectarian and welcomes people of all backgrounds.  Diversity enriches the camp experience.

The differences come down to the camp's physical setting and some of the program activities offered.

Campus Kids-Minisink is our "cabin camp".  Campers and staff live in "villages".  Each village has five cabins (two counselors and 8-10 campers in each), a modern bath house and a common gathering building called the "village center".  Meals are served in our new dining pavillion.  The setting is very woodsy.  There are two lakes, one for swimming, boating, aqua zip and "the blob", the other lake for nature study and fishing.  There's a three-level high ropes adventure course and a climbing wall.  There's an extensive nature study program and a mountain biking program.  CK-Minisink is on the NY-NJ near Port Jervis, NY.  You can browse through camp pictures at our Campus Kids-Minisink page.

Campus Kids-Connecticut is one of our two "campus camps".  It is on the rural, picturesque campus of Post University on the Middlebury-Waterbury border in central Connecticut.  Campers and staff live in "bunk groups" and the bunk groups live in spacious dormitories.  We have an indoor pool for swimming and a nearby lake for boating and fishing.  We utilize all of the school facilities (indoors and outdoors) for our activities.  You can browse through camp pictures at our Campus Kids-Connecticut page.

Campus Kids-New Jersey is our original "campus camp".  Located in the Delaware Water Gap area of northwest New Jersey, our camp is on the campus of Blair Academy, a distinguished independent boarding school in Blairstown (rural Warren County).  Campers and staff live in "bunk groups" and the bunk groups live in small dormitories.  We swim in a large indoor pool.  We utilize all of the college facilities for our activities (extensive grass and synthetic turf fields, tennis courts, several gymnasiums, squash courts, performing arts center, fine arts center).  You can browse through pictures at our Campus Kids-New Jersey page.
