It's something I've always wanted to do, but have never gotten a chance to accomplish. It is something that many people in the history of Campus Kids have done, but it has eluded me. Well, I have finally done it. I am about to start a tradition. This tradition is somewhat personal and really only applies to myself and any of my potential successors, but here goes: articles about pool parties will be short and focused on the pictures and not the words (See Pool Party #1). So here goes. |

The DJ's for this event were Teri and Dave. |
Dave quickly became an onlooker.
Lifeguards for this event were Erica (left) Ally (middle) and Bella (right). |
The Pool was, for the moment, quiet and calm. But that was about to change. |
I do, however, feel that one activity was worth commenting on.
The game struck me as peculiar, as well as many others. Noodles, as I'm sure you know, have a hollow interior that floods with water when submerged below the surface. Well, with water in the tube, and one person at either end, two "players" blow into the hole. The person to have the water come out their end loses. I have thought long and hard for a motive to play this game, and I haven't an idea. |
And all the while, non-swimmers watched from the gallery.
Soon, Teri's voice came over the loudspeaker, and she informed the happily splashing, diving, dunking, and cannon balling campers that it was time to go to canteen. You are not supposed to eat before swimming, but to many, a snack right after seemed like a brilliant idea. |
